Forming a Global Space RF Powerhouse.
Forming a Global Space RF Powerhouse.
Anywaves and EmTroniX have merged to create a unified global leader in Space RF & Payload Subsystem Technologies. Building on strong technical complementarity and prior collaborations, this strategic move brings together Anywaves’ expertise in compact, high-performance antennas and EmTroniX’s advanced RF electronics and software-defined radio capabilities.
Together, the new group now covers a broader portion of the RF value chain—from individual components to fully integrated payload subsystems—enabling more optimized, reliable solutions while reducing interface complexity for satellite manufacturers.
With an expanded international footprint across Europe and the United States, we are well positioned to support both commercial and defense programs, and to accelerate innovation in telecom, Earth observation, and exploration missions.
Etienne Le Bras Appointed CEO.
Anywaves announces Etienne Le Bras as CEO following its merger with EmTroniX, thus strengthening its position in satellite antennas and space electronics. Le Bras brings extensive experience in the space technology sector, along with a strong vision for scaling innovative space technologies.
REVALTO is an ambitious French mission dedicated to the high-revisit observation of continental water levels. Anywaves joins BWI (Blue Water Intelligence) and Hemeria on this mission, and our teams from both Toulouse and Luxembourg sites are collaborating seamlessly on cutting-edge RF subsystems.

What Makes a Good Space Engineer Today?
We sat down with Gautier Mazingue (RF Team Manager) and Mathias Nicolle (Mechanical-Thermal Team Manager) to talk about what truly defines a great space engineer today—what skills, mindset, and cross-disciplinary approach make the difference in New Space projects.
EGSE: Essential yet challenging
Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) simulates satellite environments to test antennas and RF payloads on the ground. It matters because space RF systems face unique issues—vacuum, radiation, thermal extremes—that demand rigorous, specialized verification to avoid in-orbit failures.
EGSE: RF Testing Challenges
RF subsystems interact strongly with their electromagnetic environment—unlike power or digital systems—making testing uniquely complex. Conducted tests deliver precise results for power, gain, etc., but bypass the antenna and can miss real-world issues like radiation patterns or mismatches. Radiated tests in anechoic chambers capture full performance but can be costly and cumbersome for fast constellation schedules.
What is Antenna Gain?
Antenna gain measures how effectively an antenna concentrates RF energy in a specific direction. It focuses the signal without adding power, boosting strength over distance—essential for overcoming path loss in LEO, enabling reliable TT&C, and achieving high data rates in downlinks. Higher gain means narrower beams and stronger targeted signals.

Designed and manufactured by Nara Space Technology, GYEONGGISat-1 is the first satellite of a three-unit climate constellation initiated by Gyeonggi Province. It will support data-driven environmental policy and disaster monitoring. Our X-Band Payload Telemetry Antenna ensures high-rate downlink of multispectral imagery, enabling reliable data transmission and reinforcing a long-standing partnership built on proven flight heritage and mutual engineering trust.
This European Space Agency mission is a perfect example of European collaboration at its best. Two parallel industrial consortia—one led by Thales Alenia Space, the other by GMV—are joining forces with more than 50 companies and organizations from 14 countries to build the first 10+2 satellite LEO navigation. Our engineers have designed and delivered the complete set of navigation and GNSS antennas that will fly on both Pathfinder-A and the upcoming Pathfinder-B satellites.

Anywaves Launches US Federal Subsidiary.
Building on Anywaves US, our new federal-focused entity strengthens ITAR-compliant support and accelerates access for US government and defense programs. Based in Austin, Texas, this entity reinforces what many of our partners and dear customers already know: We are becoming a global RF technology provider, structurally committed to supporting programs where performance, reliability, and industrial trustworthiness are non-negotiable.
